Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET), Ranipet is an Engineering College started in 2012 under the R.T. Educational Trust, and offers UG programmes. Governing Body has been constituted with members from Management, a nominee of the University, a nominee of state government, an industrialist and two representatives from the faculty with the Principal as Ex-officio Secretary. This body along with an Academic Council, Board of Studies for each Department and a Finance Committee takes care of managing all the affairs of this institution. Academic council oversees policies and procedures regarding academic matters with principal as the Chairman and HODs & Senior Faculty of the college experts from the premier institutions Industry Representative and university nominees as members.

The college Academic committee meets regularly for monitoring and Implementation of policies. Academic and Admissions, placement &Training and the Controller of Exams report to the Principal. Functional heads for Computer centre physical Education and Maintenance Report to the principal. Other many committees include: Anti Ragging Finance, Women Empowerment etc.. Administrative Manual Includes Employee duties responsibilities leave and conduct rules recruitment process etc... A provision is available for stake holders to give their feedback through online and Suggestion boxes.

The institutional Strategic / perspective plan has been clearly articulated and implemented . the following Goals of the strategic plan 2023- 2027 are being implemented.

  • Proposal NAAC Accreditation.
  • Encourage the faculty to increase internship participation among the students

  • Involving the students and faculties to enrol the NPTEL course.
  • Enhancing the no. of tie-up companies for placement activities.

2024

  • Achieve higher grade in NAAC Accreditation.
  • Improve the value-added course.
  • Establish in-house training centre for entrance exams like GATE, CAT 100% degree Award.
  • Initiate to write the research papers.

2025

  • Centre of excellence in allied area of technology in various departments.
  • Permanent Affiliation from the University.
  • Introducing alternative energy sources in the campus.
  • Maximize the professional membership.
  • Enhance emerging programmes.
  • Encourage the faculties to write the paper in journals.

2026

  • Improve the patent filing & IPR.
  • Creation of R&D centre for various departments.
  • Encourage the students to publish the research papers in Springer and Elsevier.
  • Maximize the PhD candidates in the various departments.
  • NBA for 5 programmes.
  • Enhancing more Sports Activity.

2027

  • Enhancing international University Collaboration.
  • Create the environment for interdisciplinary projects.
  • Maximize the Entrepreneurs.
  • Maximize the research grants and funded projects.
  • Make campus as dreamed offer campus in placement.
  • Proactively engage Alumni for their feedback with respect to current market need in development of curriculum.
