EXCELLENCE IN ACADEMICS

Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology in Ranipet district has been providing excellent education with service orientation and discipline since 2012. The college is located on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway. The college is recognized by All India Institute of Technology (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.

The UG courses offered in this college are B.Tech - Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, B.Tech – Information Technology, BE- Computer Science & Engineering, BE- Electrical & Electronics Engineering, BE- Electronics & Communication Engineering, BE- Mechanical Engineering and BE- Civil Engineering. Also 1 PG Course MBA- Master of Business Administration is also offered in this institution.

The institute focuses on providing quality education to students. The institute is committed to help students achieve their full potential academically. We strive to achieve academic excellences that are carried out to achieve the goal.

FOCUS ON STUDENTS FROM RURAL BACKGROUND

Most of the students who are joined in this institution are coming from rural background. The parents of many of students they are not graduates. The students wholly depend on this institution and more so on faculties.

ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE IN DISTRICT AND STATE LEVEL:

The following steps show our Excellence in Academic Performance:

• In Dec 2012 Anna University Examinations, the inceptive stage of our college we secured 314th rank initially in the State Level Ranking.
• In May/Dec 2013 Anna University Examinations, we held the 400th and 411th Ranking Levels respectively.
• In 2014 May/Dec Anna University Examinations, we got 269th and 190th Ranking Levels respectively.
• In May/Dec 2015 Anna University Examinations, we held the 334th and 154th Ranking Levels respectively.
• In 2016 May/Dec Anna University Examinations, we achieved 68th and 52nd Ranking Levels respectively.
• In May/Dec 2017 Anna University Examinations, we held the 33th and 46th Ranking Levels respectively.
• In 2018 May/Dec Anna University Examinations, we obtained 34th and 31st Ranking Levels respectively.
• In 2019 May/Dec Anna University Examinations, we secured 17th and 20th Ranking Positions respectively.
• In 2020 and 2021 the Ranking Levels were not published due to Online Examinations.
• In 2022 May/Dec Anna University Examinations, we obtained 4th and 1st Level of Ranking respectively among 31 Districts namely Vellore, Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur and Ranipet districts which made AMCETIANS to Feel Pride of Ourselves and AMCET is one of the Remarkable Institutions in Ranipet.

ANNA UNIVERSITY RANK HOLDER ACHIEVERS:

• G. DIVYA B.E EEE Secured 3rd Rank with 9.25 CGPA among 9542 participants with conformity for the best performance in the faculty of Electrical Engineering Program and in all the Examinations held during 2017-2021.
• P. GIRI PRASATH B.E MECH Secured 4th Rank with 9.33 CGPA among 12074 participants with conformity for the best performance in the faculty of Mechanical Engineering Program.
• V. HEMAMALINI B.E ECE Secured 8th Rank with 9.24 CGPA among 14507 participants with conformity for the best performance in the faculty of Information and Communication Engineering Program and in all the Examinations held during 2017-2021.
• P. THAMIZH ILLAKIYA B.E EEE Secured Gate Score of 248 among 87559 participants and maintained 23354 ALL INDIA RANK in Electrical Engineering Paper held during 2020-2021. with conformity for the best performance in the faculty of Electrical Engineering Program and in all the Examinations held during 2017-2021.

• In order to motivate the students, the Mira Academic Excellence Awards are given by R.T Education Trust to the students who get the best marks in each Semester examinations.
• Academic Excellence Award is an ideal platform to reward the altitude among the students in the field of academics. It is an effort to specially acknowledge their hard work, perseverance and precision in achieving their academic goals.
• The college believes that constant appreciation worker as magic and students, and this award ceremony truly motivates the students and faculties to keep excelling in academics and sway the presidium flag higher when it comes to education and knowledge.

AMCET’S TOP MOST PERFORMANCE IN 2022:

Our Institution secured Anna University Ranking of 4th among 330 Engineering Colleges in TAMIL NADU and NO: 1 position in VELLORE, RANIPET and other 28 Districts of State Level that shows AMCET Best Academic Performance in surrounding Engineering Colleges. CONCLUSION:

Academic excellence will be enhanced in the upcoming years in district, state and National level ranking by catering the needs of students in depth knowledge both theoretical and practical aspects. Our collaborative plans of each moment to be spent wisely that improves their curricular and extracurricular activities.

In the upcoming academic year, our students performance will be highlighted for the number of Gold medal rank list in Anna University. Most of them are exposed to abroad countries to practice Engineering in various disciplines. It would not be an exaggeration to say that this Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology is doing educational service to make every student of the college a better engineer, a self-confident good person and overall a better citizen.
