About Department
The Electronics and Communication Department under the Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology was started in the year 2012. The programme emphasizes the basics of Electronics, computers, communication engineering and instrumentation. The department continuously trains the students for excellence in engineering education.
The department equips the students and imparts training according to the anna university curriculum. The department has a proven record of academic excellence. With good library facilities, the students are equipped to excel in their education.
The department is well equipped with modern laboratory facilities and good infrastructure. With competent and experienced faculties, the department imparts sound theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. This enables them to be placed in multinational companies.

- Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
- Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyse complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
- Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
- Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
