Admission Process

The admission to the MBA program at Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology is conducted through Anna University’s counseling process, based on the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score. Below is a step-by-step guide to the admission process:

  • Eligibility Criteria
    • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
    • A minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) in the qualifying degree is required.
    • Candidates must appear for the TANCET MBA exam, conducted by Anna University.
  • Entrance Exam – TANCET MBA
    • Candidates must register and appear for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET MBA) conducted by Anna University.
    • The exam assesses quantitative ability, logical reasoning, verbal ability, and general business awareness.
  • Rank List & Counseling Call
    • Anna University will release a rank list based on TANCET scores.
    • Shortlisted candidates will be called for online counseling based on their ranking.
  • Choice Filling & Seat Allotment
    • Candidates must select Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology as their preferred institution during the counseling process.
    • Based on the rank and seat availability, the college and course are allotted.
  • Document Verification & Admission Confirmation
    • After seat allotment, candidates must report to the college within the specified date.
    • Submit the required original documents for verification.
    • Pay the admission fee to confirm the seat.
  • Commencement of Classes
    • Once the admission process is completed, the academic session begins as per the Anna University academic calendar.
