Mira Graduation Day 2026 – 10th Graduation Day

Honoring 260 Graduates and 15 Anna University State Rank Holders

Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology (AMCET) celebrated its 10th Graduation Day for the UG batches (2024 & 2025) and PG batch (2025) on September 20, 2026, at its campus on NH-46, Chennai–Bengaluru National Highways, Arapakkam.

A total of 260 graduates—comprising 245 Undergraduate (UG) and 15 Postgraduate (PG) students—were conferred their degrees during the ceremony. In a moment of high achievement for the institution, 14 students who secured State Level Ranks in the Anna University examinations were specially felicitated with cash awards presented by the college management. The top rank holders received prizes of ₹5,000 for 1st Rank (awarded to Anna University Gold Medalist Hemahariharan S, CSE) and ₹4,000 for 2nd Rank (Durgadevi S, CSE), with all remaining rank holders awarded ₹3,000 each in recognition of their academic distinction.

The chief guest for the occasion, Shri Krishna Balagurunathan, Assistant Vice President, Chief Mentor Mavericks, and Head of Early Careers Program at Hexaware Technologies, delivered the Graduation Day Address. In his address, he congratulated the newly minted graduates, emphasized the importance of continuous learning in an evolving global technology landscape, and urged them to carry forward ethics and dedication into their professional careers. The event commenced with a solemn academic procession, followed by Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. Founder & Chairman Mr. S. Ramadoss officially declared the graduation ceremony open and delivered a presidential address alongside Secretary & Treasurer Mr. G. Thamothiran. Principal Dr. T. K. Gopinathan delivered the Welcome Address and presented the Annual Report detailing the institution's academic and placement milestones.

Key dignitaries and management representatives addressed the gathering, including Directors Mr. R. Prasanth and Mr. T. Kishore Kumar, Trustee Mrs. Seethalakshmi Ramadoss, and Consultant Diabetologist Dr. T. Aravind, Administrative Officer Mr.S.Sandhilyan.

Following the distribution of degrees and awards, Principal Dr. T. K. Gopinathan administered the graduation pledge to the students. The event concluded with the official dissolution of the graduation by Founder & Chairman Mr. S. Ramadoss, followed by the National Anthem.
