Guest Lecture on Employee Retention

The Department of MBA, Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology organized a Guest Lecture on "Employee Retention – Driving Organisational Success and Sustainability" on 25 July 2026 at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Hall for II Year MBA students.

The session was delivered by Dr. H. Shayrine, Assistant Professor, School of Management, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology, Kanchipuram. The resource person explained the importance of employee retention, employee engagement, leadership, motivation, career development, and organizational culture in achieving long-term organizational success and sustainability.

The session was interactive and provided students with practical insights into modern Human Resource Management practices. It enhanced their understanding of effective employee retention strategies and their role in improving organizational performance. The programme concluded with an interactive discussion and a vote of thanks.
