The MBA Vanguard: Weekend Leadership Immersion Programme – 2

Back The Department of MBA, Annai Mira College of Engineering and Technology, conducted the Week 2 session of its flagship initiative “The MBA Vanguard: Weekend Leadership Immersion” on 8th November 2025 at 9:01 a.m. The session took place at Sir M. Visvesvaraya Hall, Kamarajar Block. The session featured Dr. R. Sharmila Devi, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Management, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Chennai, as the Resource Person. She delivered a highly insightful lecture on the topic “From Data to Decisions: A Practical Journey through Managerial Statistics.” The event aimed to strengthen the analytical thinking and managerial decision-making skills of the First Year MBA students (Batch of 55). Through real-world illustrations and practical applications, Dr. Sharmila Devi emphasized how data interpretation can drive effective business strategies and improve managerial outcomes. Students actively engaged in interactive discussions and hands-on problem-solving exercises, making the session both intellectually stimulating and practically relevant. The Week 2 session concluded with reflections from students, who appreciated the clarity and depth of the presentation. The department reiterated its commitment to nurturing leadership, analytical acumen, and strategic decision-making abilities among MBA scholars through such immersive weekend learning experiences.
